Devilslide—our much-loved Red IPA we have been brewing day in and day out for many years now. This beer has attracted many fans during its long tenure at our brewery. People who love bold flavours and appreciate the interplay of punchy American hops and rich, toasted malts. It’s a beer that really has it all. No changes necessary. It’s perfect as it is.
But what if it was more?
DOUBLE DEVILSLIDE. That’s right, when you already have the perfect beer, the only way to go is up. So we upped the hops, we upped the malts, and upped the alcohol. In celebration of 15 years of Boston Brewing Co, we took one of our favourite recipes and simply turned up the dial. Double Devilslide features the exact same blend of hops, malt, and yeast as our core range offering, but more of them.
The result is a beer that is truly the ultimate expression of the tropical hop aromas, caramelly malts, and rich body that Devilslide fans have come to love. Brewing this was a really fun chance to push the limits of what we can do with these familiar ingredients. Whether you are already a fan of Devilslide or if this is your introduction to the family, we think this is a pretty special beer and a great way to commemorate a milestone anniversary.
