We're excited to release our 2024 Shiraz wines.
As a family-owned winery, we're fortunate to work with fruit grown exclusively from our own single vineyard. Every vintage is an opportunity to showcase the character of our site, and the 2024 releases are no exception. These two Shiraz wines reflect different expressions of the vineyard, shaped by thoughtful winemaking and careful maturation in French oak.
2024 Ironrock Shiraz
Crafted from a select parcel chosen for its exceptional fruit quality, the Ironrock Shiraz was fermented in small open fermenters with gentle hand plunging before maturing for 13 months in French oak barriques (35% new).
Mulberry, floral notes, subtle charred oak and a hint of pepper lead into a generous palate of concentrated dark fruit. Fine, velvety tannins provide structure without sacrificing elegance, making it enjoyable on release while offering excellent cellaring potential for the next 10–15 years.
2024 Kalgan River Shiraz
Matured for 12 months in 30% new French oak, the Kalgan River Shiraz is an expressive, approachable wine with plenty of character.
Perfumed raspberry and vanilla aromas are complemented by rich berry fruit and well-integrated oak. The palate is supple and balanced, finishing with lingering spice and freshness that make it equally suited to the dinner table or the cellar.
